Are you currently a supplier to the defense sector? Is your organization considering manufacturing products or components for the DoD or DoD contractors? If so, you are probably aware of the NIST 800-171 Standard requiring all contractors to have two basic cybersecurity components:

1. They must provide adequate security to safeguard covered defense information that resides or transits through their internal unclassified information systems
2. They must report cyber incidents and cooperate with the DoD to respond to these incidents
