ABOUT THIS WEBINAR
As Dr. Jean Twenge shares in her book entitled Generations, the strongest driver of generational change is technology, from labor-saving devices to medical advances to smartphones. Changes in technology also lead to downstream effects, like a slower life (children and teens taking longer to grow to independence, young adults taking longer to settle down, and “60 is the new 50”) and individualism (more focus on the self and less on others, leading to more freedom and equality but also more disconnection). These drivers of change provide a view into the future of the workplace. Join us as Dr. Twenge shares insights from her vast research on workers from all generations, insights that could lead to greater success in recruiting, managing and retaining a workforce for optimum productivity and profitability. Whether you are a CEO, human resource professional or manager, and no matter what generation you call your own, you won’t want to miss this insightful presentation by Dr. Twenge.
Will the webinar be recorded for distribution afterwards? No. You must register and tune in on the day of the program in order to hear Dr. Twenge’s presentation.
Will there be time for questions and answers with Jean during the webinar? Dr. Twenge is a highly esteemed researcher, author, educator and speaker. To maximize the value of this program, Dr. Twenge will spend the full hour sharing observations and insights gleaned from her extensive scientific research based on U.S. and international survey and behavioral datasets that include 39 million people. The presentation will not include time for Q&A.
