As the Maryland statewide SME for manufacturing for the Maryland Small Business Development Center, Wynné S. Briscoe has been an integral part to making the Center’s technology team one of the most innovative in the country. Her knowledge of manufacturing is not only practical but masterful.

She provided testimony on the corona virus’s impact on supply chain at the U.S. Senate’s request. She served on the Manufacturing 4.0 Workgroup to create grant funding for manufacturing and technology companies. She spearheaded manufacturing roundtables and events for Southern Maryland with stakeholders from around the state participating.

Wynné assists enterprises in the technology commercialization process in taking ideas and concepts through the prototype phase and some to mass market distribution. She worked with manufacturers who are government contractors on diversifying their products and services for commercial markets, growing their revenues utilizing the same equipment and staff as for non-commercial customer projects.

Known for creativity and innovation in the development of new businesses, she offers in-depth experience, assisting businesses from concept to profitability to exit strategy. With a passion for helping Young Entrepreneurs, she coaches and mentors youth, helping them realize business ownership and self-employment as viable career options.

With recognized industry service and achievement, she was appointed member of Transforming Manufacturing in a Digital Economy Workgroup on behalf of Senator Chris West, Delegate Lily Qi and the Maryland Department of Commerce. Wynné founded Forever Eden Organics in 2010 as Maryland's second Certified Organic Bodycare Manufacturer, with a production facility in California, Maryland.
