William ”Will” Smith, Plant Manager for Clorox Aberdeen, has worked in the manufacturing field since 2008.  Celebrating 32 with the Clorox Company, and exemplifying continuous growth in the manufacturing community, Will has served in many roles throughout his career with the company, including Plant Manager for Aberdeen since 2020.

His responsibilities for managing all areas of the world’s largest producing Sodium Hypochlorite manufacturing facility – with annual sales over $250 million, production of 20+ million cases, 6 direct reports, 175 team based hourly associates, and a primary focus on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost – has led Clorox Aberdeen to be awarded the 2023 Chamber of Commerce Manufacturing and Distribution Facility of the Year.

While being a local to the Aberdeen Area, the husband and father of two attended Edgewood High School and has participated in local activities, including coaching football, baseball, and basketball. Will’s leadership and valued beliefs in manufacturing have cultivated Clorox Aberdeen in diversity and inclusion while showing continuous improvement in day to day operations and year to year growth.
