In 2021, Rick Yaffe, along with his son Brad, Hal Hackerman, and other investors, found an opportunity to create a space where others could find hope and redemption while offering a second chance to those who needed it the most. Rick purchased Mrs. Posè Bakery- a Baltimore staple in the world of desserts.

Mrs. Posè Bakery employs several individuals who are recovering from addiction as well as individuals who have previously been incarcerated. These individuals have developed the skills to continuously produce and distribute the most delectable cheesecakes Baltimore offers. They have shown immense loyalty, hard work, and commitment to expanding the reach of Mrs. Posè Bakery. Relapse can occur, and the leadership of Mrs. Posè strives to maintain a non-judgmental approach, offering appropriate resources and providing job security as employees pursue necessary support and assistance. 

 Mrs. Posè Bakery provides a sense of purpose and helps individuals regain control of their lives, further fostering self-esteem and independence as they reintegrate into our communities.
