While Mick leads a long-standing 90+ year old organization, Arnold Packaging, roughly 8 years ago, he took a massive risk and branched out into unknown territory- the world of automation.  Mick created a "startup", Arnold Automation, inside of Arnold Packaging.  Part of the drive behind the Automation Division was to impact the "end of line" manufacturing process.  However, Mick had a much greater and far-reaching vision.  He wanted to make not only his manufacturing team more productive and profitable, but he wanted to do the same for other manufacturers.  His innovative vision has helped countless manufacturers in Maryland reduce costs, improve internal processes, and boost bottom line.   Mick Arnold has single-handedly had a direct impact on the improvement of MD manufacturing as a whole and will continue to do so for many years to come.  For that, he is "star" worthy!
