Dr. Jayfus Doswell created Juxtopia, LLC with a sole trademarked mission of improving human performance® to raise economic, environmental, and societal conditions and impacts, especially those on underserved and disadvantaged populations. Under his leadership, Juxtopia designed the nation’s first transcutaneous wearable pregnancy monitor to improve the performance of low income, underserved, and underinsured African American women to mitigate pregnancy and fetal injuries.
He went on to lead Juxtopia to develop the nation’s first fully integrated optical see-through wearable augmented reality display hardware and artificial intelligent software system. This generalized architecture for developing custom AI enabled wearable augmented reality systems uses of AI to autonomously train humans across a variety of industries, from construction to military medicine. He built upon this to improve the performance of astronauts, EMT/Paramedics, and military medical personnel during care under fire and in other extreme environments.
During this journey, Jayfus consistently recruited and mentored underserved minority youth as Juxtopia® Engineers in Training (JET) comprising 100% of the core Juxtopia team that designs, engineers, tests, and deploys Juxtopia® products. To publicize JETs STEM achievements to the world, Jayfus led Juxtopia to create Juxtopia® Urban Learning Technology (JULT) television. From his experience building a high-tech, high-growth company that advances STEM from AI and wearables to telehealth, Juxtopia created the JUICE Network. Through this membership of minority high-tech and high-growth companies his JUICE team mentors, secures intellectual property and funding; assigns JETs; and provides marketing, accounting, and legal services to JUICE Network members.
