With over 16 years of experience in manufacturing and sales with PepsiCo, Candace Procter proudly leads a team of more than 130 employees at PepsiCo Beverages North America’s Cheverly plant, a 143M sq ft facility in Prince George’s County, MD.

As the Plant Director, she is committed to setting strategic plans to win each day from an efficiency and productivity standpoint, while cultivating a supportive environment that produces excellence for her team and the 100+ products they produce.

Throughout her career, Candace has achieved success and championed several innovative transformation projects to push the manufacturing industry forward – including designing, building, and launching seven new warehouses, enabling continued sales growth across several markets. Notably, since joining the Cheverly team, she has enhanced PepsiCo’s Maryland operations by increasing plant volume, expanding can operations, and boosting Pepsi order rates vs prior years.

However, what matters most to Candace is her role as a people leader, setting an example for future talent in the industry. She’s committed to building a positive workplace culture by driving inclusivity through her leadership roles with MOSAIC, the company’s employee resource group for Black associates, as well as ‘Women in Operations’, a PepsiCo group dedicated to developing female talent in operations roles. She has also implemented training frameworks and other capability building initiatives to help both frontline and salaried individuals on her team advance within the company – passing along the opportunity she has been given since she joined the company in 2008.
