Each year, the Maryland Green Registry Leadership Award is presented to worthy organization that shows  a strong commitment to sustainability, improvement and measurable results.

This year is no different! The application period is now active. Applicants must be members of the Maryland Green Registry, which is free. Then, they can apply at this link. Applications are due April 30.

According to the Maryland Green Registry Leadership website, the “Maryland Green Registry Leadership Award winners represent a variety of facility types and sizes, but all have several key factors in common that contribute to their success: an organization-wide commitment to environmental performance, a green team that meets on a regular basis, annual environmental goals, and measurement of results.”
