Mike Kelleher stepped on the scene to serve Maryland manufacturing over a decade ago with his partner Brian Sweeney when they established the Maryland Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MD MEP). Today, MD MEP is one of the top MEPs in the nation. Mike, CEO and Executive Director of MD MEP is a bright STAR of Maryland Manufacturing. He is committed, hardworking, and strategic in planning and delivering services. With Mike's leadership, he and his team at MD MEP have assisted hundreds of manufacturing companies and thousands of workers around the state and built meaningful partnerships with manufacturing stakeholders in business, government, and education. Under Mike’s leadership, MD MEP has been able to create partnerships that have resulted in increased federal and state investments in the manufacturing sector in Maryland. During COVID, Mike and his team played a vital role in connecting manufacturers to supply chains, connecting them with needed resources, and helping companies to stay open.
