Eeshika Singh is an engineering student at Virginia Tech University. She was a summer intern with Phoenix Mecano North America in the IT Department. During her time with us she wanted to gain technical skills as well as experience personal growth and exploration.

Eeshika was enthusiastic about having a unique internship experience at a company with various departments of specialization. Eeshika appreciates the collaborative work environment where everyone willingly lends a helping hand based on their unique skills and roles. She engaged in conversations with employees from various departments, seeking insights into their backgrounds and current roles. Each interaction was rich with valuable advice.

Eeshika’s summer project focused on learning Power BI software for data analytics and visual representation. She created a dashboard for our Logistics Department and continued to refine the data with the help of her IT colleagues and the Logistics Manager.  The dashboard is now used in the weekly logistics meeting.

Before her internship wrapped up and Eeshika returned to school, she explained just how grateful she was that the internship offered her both flexibility and support so that she can discover different areas of engineering and research. Eeshika emphasized how much she values that we have given her the freedom to make mistakes and learn from them without the fear of consequences.  Eeshika’s experiences during her internship at Phoenix Mecano serve as a testament to our company’s commitment to caring for talented interns by allowing them to learn new skills and thrive.
