Few have served in as many economic development and manufacturing roles in Maryland as David Iannucci. His record of success and exemplary public service are well known. For over 25 years, he has served as a dedicated public servant who has shaped Maryland's economic landscape. Today, David is the President and CEO of the Prince George's County Economic Development Corporation. He served as Maryland's Secretary of Commerce, formerly known as Department of Business and Economic Development (DBED) during the Glendening administration, Executive Director of the Baltimore County Department of Economic Development, and the Chief Legislative Officer for Governor William Donald Schaefer.

While in Baltimore County, David strongly supported jobs that were part of the nation’s manufacturing legacy and a critical source of employment for thousands of men and women. In Prince George's County, David has played a fundamental role leading the County’s economic growth and supporting high-tech manufacturing in the county with projects such as Blink Charging Co. and ION Storage. He has been a leader in the development of the largest number of Metro stations in the Capital region primed for TOD. David regularly advocates Prince George's County strengths and the presence of outstanding federal, academic, and commercial assets, including its Triple A Bond rating, the University of Maryland, Bowie State University, NOAA, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, Joint Base Andrews (home of Air Force One), and Prince George's Community College, and the Washington Commanders stadium.
