2020 Champions of Maryland Manufacturing People’s Choice Voting Begins October 12th and Runs Through October 18th. Extensive exposure opportunity for winning Champions.

Beginning on Monday, October 12 through Sunday, October 18, the public is invited to vote online for their favorite 2020 Champion of Maryland Manufacturing in each of the seven Champion story categories: Innovation, Workforce, Diversity & Inclusion, Fighting COVID-19, Community Engagement & Energy Efficiency & Sustainability. All Champions featured in the online Champions Directory are eligible candidates and are included in the appropriate category in the Voting Survey. How to Vote: To vote, you must enter an email address. Email addresses will not be distributed or added to any email list for future communications. The email address is only needed to ensure accuracy of voting. You may only vote for ONE Champion in each category.
How to View the Vote Talley: You will be able to view the total votes for each Champion in each category in which you select a Champion of your choice. You do not need to select a Champion in every category, but if you do not select a Champion in a particular category, you will not see the vote count for Champions in that category. All vote counts will be hidden from Saturday, October 17 through Sunday, October 18th even though voting will remain open through September 18. This is to allow for the element of surprise for the winners.
Announcement of Champion Winners: As for who will be announced as the winners, the two Champions in each of the seven categories that receive the most votes will be designated as the 2020 Champions of MD Manufacturing People’s Choice winners. Winners will be announced on Tuesday, October 20th and recognized through press, email and social media announcements by RMI and our 13 Champions program partner organizations. But there’s more…
Benefits of Being Selected a Champion Winner: Each month, starting in November and running through May 2021, RMI will host a webinar featuring a discussion on a select topic with the top two People’s Choice winners from one of the seven categories. This will give the business community, educators, students, legislators/policy makers and general public the opportunity to get to know these Champions and their efforts more intimately and gain a greater appreciation for their value to our state’s manufacturing industry. It’s great exposure for these Champions and just another way RMI will continue to shed a positive light on Maryland manufacturing!
