Zentech has been nominated as a Champion of Maryland manufacturing for having provided outstanding leadership in manufacturing.  The company will be honored at RMI’s November 30 Tribute to the Champions of Maryland Manufacturing event at Martins West.  Zentech was recently honored by the State of Maryland as a premier electronics contract manufacturer and production facility in the State of Maryland. They manufacture sophisticated electronic assemblies for Maryland companies and beyond in many diverse end markets. Zentech became the second electronics contract manufacturer in the U.S., and only the third worldwide, to become certified as an IPC Trusted Source Qualified Manufacturer Listed (QML) organization for the manufacture of Class 3 mission-critical, high-performance electronic assemblies.

Stakeholders of Maryland’s manufacturing industry are encouraged to nominate their champion in the following categories:

* Accelerating product or process innovation

* Increasing growth through visionary leadership

* Contributing to their communities

* Creating products that improve our lives

* Creating a positive culture of change management

* Attracting and engaging STEM students to manufacturing

* Employing an inclusive workforce

RMI will celebrate these champions at our signature fall event on November 30 called “A Tribute to Champions of Maryland Manufacturing.”  RMI signature events typically draw over 600 manufacturing stakeholders and provide the premier networking environment for the manufacturing industry.  This event will serve as the launch of RMI’s new “Image Campaign” to help educate policymakers, educators and the media about today’s manufacturing and how it impacts our future economic growth.
