Holmatro USA Nominated as a Champion of Maryland Manufacturing for its Products That Save Lives

Firefighters from all over the United States, rescue teams from FEMA, the U.S Naval Academy, the Army, Air Force and Maryland’s Shock Trauma unit all come to Holmatro’s U.S. facility in Glen Burnie, Md., to train and use its rescue tools to save lives. Holmatro tools extricate victims trapped after road traffic accidents, public transportation accidents or military vehicle accidents. Holmatro tools are also used in disaster response for FEMA rescue teams and they have “concrete crushers” for helping rescuers extract victims from concrete build collapses where they are trapped between floors.

Do you know of a Manufacturer or have Maryland Made Product that should be recognized as Champion of Manufacturing? Please click below and nominate your Maryland Manufacturing Champion today.

RMI will celebrate these champions at our signature fall event on November 30 called “A Tribute to Champions of Maryland Manufacturing.”  RMI signature events typically draw over 600 manufacturing stakeholders and provide the premier networking environment for the manufacturing industry.  This event will serve as the launch of RMI’s new “Image Campaign” to help educate policymakers, educators and the media about today’s manufacturing and how it impacts our future economic growth.
