C-Care Nominated as Maryland Manufacturing Champion for Increasing Growth Through Visionary Leadership

C-Care, is a contract manufacturer of skin care, hair care and hair color products located in Linthicum Heights, Maryland. Management undertook at transformational process to reduce waste. C-Care has reduced energy usage by 37% through a $1.8 million investment that upgraded the roof, replaced 14 roof top HVAC units, installed a building automation system and upgraded lighting to LEDs. The company is projected to save $187,000 annually from energy savings. Through C-Care’s focus on elimination of waste and Continuous Improvement C-Care has been able to bring new business to Maryland from Mexico, Iowa and Virginia. The Maryland Department of Environment recognized C-Care as a 2016 Green Registry Winner.
